Build it

Transaction – Automate SAP data entry

  • Transaction produces scripts that users can associate with an Excel file to create a template that the author or anyone else with the correct SAP authorization can run. Alternatively, scripts can be published as web services.
  • Authorized users can use Runner to access run-only instances of these scripts
  • Administrators can use Foundation to create web services to publish the scripts as forms that other authorized users can edit by using Designer
  • Advanced SAP users can create more specialized, BAPI-based scripts with Direct that others can then edit and use with Transaction

Query – Find and analyze real-time SAP data

  • Query produces query files that users can associate with an Excel file to create a query template that the author or anyone else with the correct SAP authorization can run. Alternatively, queries can be published as web services.

  • Enables users to create web-based forms that they can open and edit with Query distribute through Foundation, and store on Central

Direct – Extends SAP BAPIs for broader, more accessible use

  • Allows advanced users to explore SAP BAPIs and create custom templates that others can use to create Transaction scripts

  • Provides users with run-only access to scripts created in Transaction and Query
  • Integrates with Central to allow administrators to manage script execution
