Extraction, Ad Hoc Reporting, Query, and Analysis for SAP

Winshuttle QUERY™ is an SAP data extraction and analysis tool that allows users to shuttle live data from the SAP transactional system into Microsoft Excel®, Access, and other common formats for immediate analysis and action. QUERY uses three simple steps to complete the process of data extraction from SAP: SELECT, MAP, and RUN.
While QUERY is similar in some ways to the various SAP query tools such as Table Browser (SE16), SAP Query (SQ01/02/03), or QuickViewer (SQVI), it has many additional security and performance features, and it does not require that users have access to those SAP tools. For data extraction, QUERY not only preserves the standard table-level security in SAP, but also enforces organization-level (plant-level, company-code level, etc.) security that is present in a user’s standard SAP security profile. This organization-level security is fully customizable and is one of the unique features of QUERY when compared to the SAP query tools. QUERY maintains SAP performance by minimizing the effect that the queries have on the SAP system. This is done via a patent-pending Adaptive Query Throttling™ technology that dynamically optimizes the execution of these queries based on the existing load on the SAP system.
