Recently I had the pleasure of attending the Biznet Software User Conference “Excelapalooza” in Dallas, TX. It was 3 days packed full of product reviews, training sessions, keynote speeches and some quite enjoyable entertainment. The conference was attended by about 200 users of Biznet Software, financial accountants, CPA’s and of course, avid Excel Guru’s. The conference was hosted by the Biznet Team, lead by Founder George McMann, and a team of roughly 30 Biznet solutions experts, trainers, testers and product developers, all presenting on topics around usability.
The hosts were very inspired, excited and enthusiastic as were those in attendance. George McMann, highlighted how Biznet grew from its infancy to a global software provider of solutions, and Cindy Cooper provided the WorldCom view on accountability and governance. Users grasped every tidbit of information and each of the sessions were well structured, presented and maintained. There was plenty of time for Q&A sessions that provided users with more specific answers and left room for discussion. In addition to the Biznet team, there was a special track of training sessions specifically focused on advanced Excel skills. These sessions were hosted by Mr. Excel, a team of professionals spouting out formulas, macros, pivot tables and visual basic scripts left and right!
For me the highlight of the show was the warm welcome that Biznet extended to me as a Partner of Winshuttle. The executive team really embraces their partners and as one of the newest Software partners, I was no exception. The users got to learn more about how Winshuttle partners with Biznet to provide an Analytics solution that connects to SAP ERP systems and presents the data in a logical format for reporting and analysis.
Winshuttle Analytics provides a seamless interface with the SAP database to create rapid deployment reports and leverages BizBroadcast to deliver critical reports to process owners, and executives through reports, metrics and dashboards. This capability provides a method of extracting data quickly, without the need for refreshing databases and pushing out reports. With Analytics now an element of the Winshuttle Solution arsenal, users have the capabilities to extract, report and update critical information within the SAP ERP system, completing the full Data life-cycle.
