Position summary

Winshuttle’s Quality Team is looking for talented, ambitious, self-directed technologists to Identify Test Cases and Test Scenarios based on standard Test Case design techniques

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • To Understand & Explore new and existing features of the product.
  • Work collaboratively with development team during all stages of projects to develop highly effective functional, Non-Functional, Negative and end-to-end test cases.
  • Ability to Test and Automate functional cases.
  • To ensure test scripts are always up to date and monitor their status during every run.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationship with other functional teams
  • Creation, Modification and Execution of Test Scenarios/Scripts – Automated and Manual
  • Identification and reporting of issues and defects
  • Ensuring adherence to test and quality processes
  • Ensuring proper documentation of all results and ability to provide detailed reports for failure cases

 

REQUIRED SKILLS  

  • Candidate should have Passion for Quality & should be able to think out of the box and discover scenarios to break the product.
  • Should be a Self-starter, takes initiative & have that keen eye for automating repetitive activities
  • Experienced in any of the scripting languages like Perl, Python, and Batch Scripting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills
  • Should be able to develop automated smoke, functional, regression test suites and database backend.
  • Should have expertise in Test Designing, Test cases, Test scripts, Test Automation & Test Reporting
  • Expert in operating System Skills: Windows
  • Experience in testing tools like Selenium / Test Stack White
  • Experience in Automating Web services / Client-Server products.
  • Good programming knowledge preferably in C# coding
  • Good knowledge of OOPs concepts
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Defect Life Cycle.
  • Excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Good team player and a quick learner

Experience

2 to 4 years of software industry experience and successful track record in product testing.

BE/BTech/MCA/Equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university or college
