Abstract
  This presentation will show how Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC) has simplified the entry of general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable and purchasing data into their SAP system, without involving any programming resources. As a result of this simplification, CCBCC has achieved significant benefits including: time savings, reduction in data entry resources, availability of accurate and timely data in SAP software systems, and reduction of IT support requirements.

  Hubbell, Inc., an international manufacturer of electrical and electronic products, went live with SAP in 2004. This presentation will talk about the approach Hubbell took to improve the quality of master data in SAP. Master data positively affected included customer, material, vendor and pricing conditions. Hubbell’s approach to automated data entry reduced manual labor costs and minimized the burden on IT resources. This approach saved Hubbell the equivalent of 3 FTEs and maximized SAP data quality.
