Winshuttle Cloud Edition available on Microsoft Azure
Bothell, Washington – November 9, 2016 – Winshuttle is pleased to announce an important milestone in its journey to the cloud with the initial build and First Customer Shipment (FCS) release of Winshuttle User Governance Cloud Edition. This new cloud-based deployment option for the Winshuttle User Governance platform enables the management of user licenses, scripts, and user access.
Winshuttle Studio customers will now be able to implement User Governance faster than ever, allowing companies to have centralized visibility and control without an on-premises installation.
Winshuttle Cloud Edition utilizes Microsoft Azure and Office 365 to deploy and run Winshuttle solutions for quicker time to value, and faster implementations. Azure was chosen as the foundation to satisfy enterprise customers’ requirements for security and scalability. Global enterprises can leverage the proliferation of Azure datacenters to provision Winshuttle Cloud Edition.
This solution was created in response to the trend in organizations needing software, infrastructure and managed services in the cloud, and provides customers with seamless integration between Office 365, Azure, and SAP.
“We’re excited to bring this deployment offering to customers who are moving to a cloud strategy,” said Marc Rouhana, Winshuttle Cloud Edition Product Manager. “Our solution will allow customers to be more agile and better connected than ever before.”
“Winshuttle is a longstanding Microsoft gold certified partner, so we are pleased to have User Governance integrated with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 for its SAP users around the world,” said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Corp. “Now, Winshuttle can leverage the global scale and market leading security of Azure to further help accelerate cloud adoption for its customers.”
