A run-only version of the transactionSHUTTLE software, runSHUTTLE™ allows any authorized SAP user, regardless of their familiarity with the SAP transaction, to securely move data between Excel and SAP using predefined transaction templates. Once the transaction or business process has been recorded and mapped, the runSHUTTLE™ application takes over. Errors in the data are immediately flagged in the Excel file and can be easily corrected and reprocessed.

runSHUTTLE can be run completely from within Excel or a separate desktop application and the same functionality is available in either option. Running from within Excel can be an incredibly powerful option, because it lets people enter data with SAP without having to go through the SAP UI, or in fact even have a detailed knowledge of the underlying SAP transaction, yet all the SAP security and data validation rules still apply. This gives enterprises great flexibility and they can spread the SAP data work to users who aren't SAP experts without the fear of compromising security or data integrity.
