All Winshuttle products have a commercial lifetime determined by a product lifecycle methodology, which includes an End-of-Life (EOL) phase for versions of a product. A deliberate product lifecycle methodology ensures the highest quality products and the highest level of support for our customers.

The Winshuttle Product Development and Engineering organizations ceased active development of Tablepro! Version 5.x.x on December 31, 2007, and the Winshuttle Support Team ceased active support June 30, 2008. During the EOL phase, Winshuttle will support all Tablepro! customers through June 30, 2008 or until the end of an existing support contract, whichever is later.

Customers will no longer receive maintenance releases for Tablepro! Version 5.x.x. Also, Winshuttle will not take any orders from new customers, nor renew currently expiring support contracts. Winshuttle will continue to investigate, troubleshoot, and characterize issues with Tablepro! Version 5.x.x to provide solutions and workarounds using its hot fix and patch process on a best effort basis. In the situation where a work around will not be possible, the customer will need to wait for the delivery of the upgrade. The next version is targeted for release during the summer of 2008 with an announcement of capabilities in the spring of 2008.

The product name may change, but existing Tablepro! customers will be eligible for the upgrade with a current support contract. Customers whose support contract lapses during the period between December 31, 2007 and June 30, 2008, will receive a product upgrade once their support contract is renewed. A notice will be posted on all relevant web pages stating that the product release has entered the EOL process.
