A Decade of Winshuttle
By Bill Wiseman on May 14, 2020
It was the year 2010 and the Apple iPhone was still fresh in the minds of the consumer. The concept of Apps was introduced and a whole new way of integrating our daily lives with technology was born. Since then we have seen a lot of changes in technology.
The introduction of the iPad, Tweeting, Googling, Storage, In Memory, In Cloud, On Prem, Hosted, Terabytes, Hubs, Virtual Machines, and a list of things long enough to make our heads spin. Once we focused on a single instance, now we look at how we manage the interdependency of multiple solutions. Certainly, the way that we manage our businesses is much more complex than it was a decade ago.
We find ourselves looking at the way we manage an exponentially growing amount of data and processes that are critical to our business. In order to deal with this growth, the need to digitize both data and process is required. This interdependency of those two elements, and how we manage that relationship can be impactful. If we are successful in digitally transforming these elements, we can gain a competitive advantage.
The need for speed and accuracy is at the forefront of this dilemma. With tons of data to manage, we need to access data quickly and ensure its accuracy. Inaccurate data simply adds to the problem and in addition to that, even today many of our critical business processes are still manual.
Ten years ago, when I joined Winshuttle, things were a lot different in the world of technology. However, one thing was the same, the need for replacing manual business processes and maintaining the validity of data. Although, there wasn’t as much data, there was a multitude of inaccurate and duplicate data in our systems.
The good news is that over this period, Winshuttle has remained focused on solving the needs of our customers and ensuring their success. Our software enables our customers to create accurate data and speed up critical business processes. These core elements allow businesses to drive real time results and get the competitive advantage needed to thrive in this digital economy.
Within our portfolio, you can always depend on our legacy Studio solution. Studio, the market leader in Excel-to-SAP automation, assists you in creating and modifying thousands of master and transactional records.
Winshuttle Evolve, our flagship automation platform is designed to automate strategic data processes. Evolve is powerful enough to support complex data processes and agile enough to change as your business processes change.
In order to manage the diversity across multiple systems, our Enterworks platform is a multi-domain platform used to create and maintain consistent, high quality master data and other critical data. Enterworks gives customers a unique mix of data quality, enrichment and syndication capabilities.
Although a lot of things have changed since I joined Winshuttle ten years ago, our commitment to providing industry leading platform capabilities remains unchanged. Winshuttle is committed to improving data quality and business processes for our customers, so that they may be successful in their digital transformation efforts.
