Technical Architecture for Automating SAP Processes using Forms and Workflow

By Jim O'Farrell on Dec 23, 2011

This week’s blog is a plug for a recently published white paper detailing the technical platform requirements for SAP forms and workflow process innovation deployment. As we developed this informative piece, I was struck with how straightforward and natural the Winshuttle technical requirements are and how many “standard”, non-version specific platform technologies are actually supported. Given the usual constraints that enterprise software puts on an IT infrastructure, it’s very interesting to note the flexibility of the architecture requirements and the wide range of supported SAP, Microsoft O/S and related sundry items. SONY DSC

Some of the topics in the white paper include:

  • Workflow and Designer System Requirements and Licensing
  • SAP Integration
  • SharePoint Dependencies
  • Security and Authentication
  • Load Balancing, Backup and Disaster Recovery

So click here, kick back for a few minutes, have a read and get a good sense for the ease of deployment and infrastructure associated with Winshuttle Workflow and Designer. (I can think of a LOT more onerous deployments – you too?).

Happy Holidays and all the best to you in 2012!
