Reports to: VP, America Sales

Position summary

The Account Manager will drive Winshuttle software license sales in existing accounts within a specific geographic territory and assigned accounts. This role is responsible to identify, qualify, and win opportunities while developing and driving an existing client expansion strategy. This will be done by identifying, developing, and maintaining value focused relationships with all levels of contacts (both business and IT) within accounts.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned quota.
  • Generate and maintain a sufficient pipeline.
  • Partner with the regional sales team to manage and grow business and pipeline.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship to achieve and expand existing customer goals resulting in upsells, cross-sells, and consistent renewals.
  • Exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added, and revenue/sales targets.
  • Drive product adoption and managing escalations for our existing customers, thereby ensuring retention and long-term satisfaction.
  • Own a book of business with assigned clients that you are responsible for supporting, educating, and growing through regular, systematic touchpoints.
  • Keep customers informed of upcoming product changes and current roadmap.

Knowledge

  • College degree a plus
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ successful inside sales experience in B2B software industry.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • SAP (or other ERP), MDM knowledge/experience a plus.
  • Formal sales training using a “solutions-oriented” and or “consultative sales” techniques.

Experience

  • Proven software inside sales experience with the discipline to work an effective pipeline strategy.
  • Must be comfortable selling technical software solutions to various business groups within an organization.
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle and work under pressure of a quota.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Sell using consultative sales techniques.
  • Possess an analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, and ability to interact with any level within an organization.
