Position summary

We are a fast-paced company with a dynamic culture looking for motivated Business Development Representatives to support the growth of our business. If you have a passion for business, engaging with clients, and building new sales leads the Business Development Representative role is for you.

The Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting the Sales departments through lead generation.  This includes qualification of outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns.  This position is also responsible for event support and proactive lead generation.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Proactively call into accounts on targeted lists by utilizing and maintaining corporate database
  • Be proactive in researching and finding opportunities which may not be on targeted lists
  • Calling and researching potential points of contacts
  • Building relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts, identifying their project needs and business issues and conducting individual needs analysis
  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate Winshuttle’s value propositions to key decision makers regarding appropriate Winshuttle product offerings
  • Transfer qualified leads to appropriate Account Executive for follow-up and formal sales presentation
  • Maintain up to date and extensive knowledge on all Winshuttle product offerings through participation in product demonstrations, meetings and marketing materials
  • Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor’s product offerings
  • Maintain strong relationship with sales team through clear communication and follow-up
  • Achieve monthly lead generation goals set by sales management

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability to translate technical information into easy to understand language for customers
  • Ability to learn product offerings
  • Proven ability to network and research competitors and clients


  • 3+ years experience is desirable
  • Experienced in account development and/or working for a lead generation company, or a similar capacity to the role described above
  • Experience working in a software background is ideal
