Position summary

Responsible for designing, developing and delivering Winshuttle solutions as a project team member on customer implementation projects.  Provides consulting support to customers and sales for design, process recommendations and solution proposals. This requires a combination of customer facing skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.  Gather business requirements, author detailed functional solution documents, and provide business process consulting aligned with Winshuttle best practices.  Provide project experience and customer use case information to help drive Winshuttle application development and feature innovation. Ability to deliver customer training on the Winshuttle applications and tailor the content to meet the specific customer needs. Ability to identify and communicate new sales opportunities.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Lead customers in developing and documenting detailed functional requirements
  • Customer facing role as an implementation project team member and/or training resource
  • Develop, test and deploy Winshuttle solutions on customer implementation projects
  • Ability to deliver project tasks within the allotted project plan (time and budget)
  • Deliver on site and online (remote) customer training/consulting
  • Up to 75% travel required
  • Develop innovative tools, approaches, processes and solutions that mature the organization
  • Build a trusted relationship with our customers and collaborate cohesively with internal team members
  • Maintain strong work standards, and promotes productivity, accountability and high morale
  • Collaborate effectively with project and other service delivery team members
  • Mentor other service delivery team members

Knowledge

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system is preferred
  • Software implementation experience – either as an implementer or as the customer solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to explain benefits of a technical product / solution to a client in relation to the client’s business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work interdependently and to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with customers, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering or a similar field
  • 5+ years’ experience developing and implementing technical business solutions
  • Proficient in Business Process Management software (Workflow, Workflows, etc.)
  • Proficient with reading and interpreting technical information
  • Strong software customization with the ability and business acumen to exercise judgment in selecting methods and solutions for client needs
  • Experience capturing and documenting technical requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Excel Macros and/or JavaScript is preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Basic understanding of Databases
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
