Position summary

The Consultant I will leverage in-depth product and MDM/PIM knowledge to facilitate training content to implement Winshuttle’s Enterworks solutions for Clients and Partners.  This role will be responsible for delivering client consulting in conjunction with training engagements as needed.  This requires a combination of customer-facing skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner. This role also provides technical consulting support to clients and sales for complex design, product recommendations, and solution proposals. Define technical and project strategies, gather business requirements, write detailed functional specifications, document best practices, and consult to provide analytical insight on product improvement/ development and feature innovation The Technical Trainer is responsible for global collaboration and implementation of new and existing product training. This role requires strong knowledge of adult learning theory, enterprise software implementations, and proven experience to launch and drive product learning.

Essential functions and responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

COLLABORATION and LEADERSHIP

  • Plan, direct, and ensure successful delivery of customer and partner training engagements.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships between the customer, project team, and other internal delivery partners.
  • Assume a leadership role in educating the business and technical community on training programs.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, services, and support for training programs that ensure Winshuttle is exceeding customer expectations.
  • Self-motivated individual – high energy, high activity, and engagement levels.

IMPLEMENTATION

  • Consult with customers during workshop sessions and develop working solutions that address specific Enterworks configuration and business process needs.
  • Contribute to the technical knowledgebase and company internal knowledge sources.
  • Responsible for designing and proposing solutions for client needs that are highly technical or specialized in nature.
  • Define technical and project strategies, gather business requirements, write detailed functional specifications, document best practices, and consult to provide analytical insight.
  • Ability to take on consulting work and training work in parallel.
  • Validate customer training requirements and align training content delivery to requirements.

TRAINING

  • Develop and maintain advanced training materials that may be beyond content developed by Product Management.
  • Contribute to the team collaboration site.
  • Assist with internal product testing, as needed.
  • Evaluate existing tools, processes, methods and recommend improvements to mature overall customer success.
  • Coordinate with other trainers, globally.
  • Develop and deliver training content at an annual user conference.

COMMUNICATION

  • Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of German language preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication.

Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in technical training delivery/MDM Implementation activities.
  • Experience delivering remote and in-person training.
  • Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning theory.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MDM solutions.
  • Frequent travel may be required depending on the customer’s needs.

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to explain the benefits of a technical product/solution to a client in relation to the client’s business needs.
  • Ability to translate technical information into easy-to-understand language for customers.
  • Ability to translate customer training needs into training delivery and create working solutions.
  • Detailed working knowledge of MDM solutions. MDM-based product training experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft products (Office), SQL databases, and/or Windows Networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team and to manage multiple demands.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with customers, partners, and other technical staff.
  • Fundamental knowledge of MS InfoPath or any other software application for designing, distributing, filling, and submitting electronic forms containing structured data
  • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery and Excel Macros
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Software Development Methodology
