Position summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead our monthly budget reviews and Financial Analysis with our Senior Leadership to provide financial oversight and decision support in this rapidly evolving company. Specifically, the role will support a variety of financial and innovative initiatives across the organization. The role will require a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and be able to create and maintain efficient & automated processes.

The successful candidate will provide financial guidance, feedback and insights to the business on a range of new and existing programs. This role requires strong analytical acumen, cognitive flexibility, business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and an excellent track record of influencing business partners. This role has daily interaction with functional leaders across the company therefore it requires advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits
  • Prepare cost projections
  • Analyze and report on current financial status
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
  • Develop relationships with management to gain a deep understanding of the business and identify opportunities to positively impact results.
  • Assist with developing business cases and support operation and capital planning activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA preferred;
  • Minimum 5+ years’ FP&A or business finance experience
  • Adaptive Planning and Microsoft Dynamics GP, Salesforce, PowerBI or other BI tools
  • Software organization, fast paced, quickly changing environment;
