Senior Product Marketing Manager

Position summary

 

This key role will be a member of our growing product marketing team that is defining the market, positioning, and messaging for Winshuttle’s products and solutions. This role requires an experienced B2B product marketer to research market feasibility, lead product launches, and create positioning, messaging, customer-facing content, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement materials.

The ideal candidate will immediately demonstrate product marketing leadership and bring best practices to the global team. This is the perfect role for a passionate, analytical, and outside-of-the-box thinking senior product marketer.

The successful candidate will have proven success in creating positioning, messaging, content and marketing plans for enterprise software with complex sales cycles, and enabling enterprise sales teams to achieve their revenue goals. Experience marketing software products in ERP ecosystems will be an advantage.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Conduct market assessments and analyze market potential for new products or solutions.
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy for specific solutions/and or products.
  • Conduct research interviews with industry experts and customers to uncover buying insights and develop buyer personas.
  • Develop positioning for specific solutions/and or products.
  • Develop persona-based messaging for specific solutions/and or products.
  • Ability to easily discern and articulate features, advantages, and benefits specific solutions/and or products.
  • Work with the Winshuttle marketing, sales, and product management teams to develop ongoing marketing plans to meet our company’s strategic and revenue goals.
  • Create customer-facing content that supports marketing plans (PowerPoint presentations, product demonstrations, videos, white papers, collateral, webinar content, etc.).
  • Work with product and sales management to create sales enablement content (playbooks, training videos, face-to-face training materials, etc.).
  • Conduct ongoing online and in-person sales training to ensure our sales team is ready to deliver the right message to the right persona in the sales cycle.
  • Work with our enterprise solutions managers and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that articulates Winshuttle vision and direction to key customers, analysts and the press.
  • Expand and improve frameworks, processes, and content types.
  • Work with the product management team to create competitive positioning against the top competitive solutions.
  • Work with the product management and enterprise solutions teams to understand and communicate product and solution architecture and deployment diagrams.
  • Participate in events and evangelize the differentiated value proposition of our solutions and products.

Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of the product marketing discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to easily discern and articulate product or solution features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Excellent presentation skills for all audiences and settings (customer meetings, sales training, industry events, etc.)
  • The ability to visually illustrate messages and concepts.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Ten plus years of experience marketing enterprise software in B2B environments, preferably working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Working in fast-paced development cycles to deliver results quickly.
  • Extensive experience developing high-quality customer, press, analyst and sales enablement positioning, messaging and content.
  • Collaborating and leading cross-functional teams across global geographies.
  • Scoping projects for and managing external vendors to complete work on time and budget.
