Senior Product Marketing Manager

Position summary

This key role will be a member of our growing Product Marketing team that is defining the market, positioning, and messaging for Winshuttle’s solutions and platform.  This role requires an experienced B2B product marketer to conduct market research, establish market and financial models, craft the positioning and messaging, create enablement materials, and lead product launches and market readiness activities.

The ideal candidate will immediately demonstrate Product Marketing leadership and infuse best practices across the global team.  This role will be required to develop rigorous practices for identifying and attacking new markets for leading products, and demonstrating creativity within the teams that win in these markets. This is the perfect role for a passionate, analytical, and outside of the box thinking Product Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in creating positioning and messaging for enterprise software with complex sales cycles. In particular, experience in the ecosystems of large ERP vendors will be an advantage.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Conduct market assessments and develop creative analysis that helps identify the scope of the solution market opportunity;
  • Conduct research interviews with industry experts and customers to uncover buying insights and develop buyer personas.
  • Develop and execute launch plans for new product initiatives, working closely with product management, engineering, PR, design, support and sales;
  • Provide thought leadership by creating content that articulates Winshuttle vision and direction to key customers, analysts and the press;
  • Contribute content to help define, and update the solution marketing framework;
  • Create competitive positioning against the top competitive solutions;
  • Become the product and solution expert; develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analyses of competitive strengths and weaknesses;
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop strategies that will achieve targeted product market share and revenue;
  • Work with the product management team and subject matter experts to understand and clearly communicate product and solution architecture and deployment diagrams;
  • Create and publish industry solution briefs and customer success stories;
  • Create customer facing product content (Power Point presentations; product demonstrations; videos; white papers, etc.);
  • Participate at events and evangelize the differentiated value proposition of the product(s);
  • Create self-contained product demonstrations and videos, as well as interactive product/technology/company presentations to be used in online marketing and as sales or support collateral;
  • Develop keynote presentations to be used by sales and business development teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to easily discern features and benefits and write in a compelling, client-focused language while ensuring writing is of a high standard;
  • Sharp presentation skills including the ability to plan a compelling story and deliver a compelling presentation to sales team members or clients directly;
  • The ability to visually illustrate messages and develop concepts going beyond words to communicate are vital;
  • Previous experience developing product marketing material to support product suite with strong collaboration across the organization (product management, sales, marketing, training).


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA preferred;
  • 8 years of software product marketing experience, preferably working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills- be prepared to provide previous work samples;
  • Working in short, fast-paced development cycles to deliver results quickly;
