Strategic Account Executive_Finance Sales

Position summary

The Strategic Account Executive develops mid-to-high level Finance and Accounting contacts in new and existing enterprise accounts to build interest in Winshuttle’s solutions and drive revenue This strategic sales role will be required to prospect and target accounts for new business, expand an existing account base, as well as work with partners. Proven ability to identify and qualify opportunities to drive pipeline. This role requires a visionary, take-charge style and a consistent track record of hitting/exceeding quota and running a territory.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly assigned quota
  • Generate sufficient new opportunities per month to maintain an average of 3-4x quota in your pipeline
  • Understand our prospect and customers uses cases and Winshuttle’s solutions to identify and describe to customers how our products can solve their business problems.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and enter into company Sales Force Automation system
  • Each month, develop a minimum of five accurate proposals for new prospects which successfully solve the prospect’s business problems
  • Make effective, persuasive presentations using communication which showcases Winshuttle solutions.
  • Provide presentations that convey confidence and credibility while detailing Winshuttle’s ability to implement a solution that supports our customer’s needs to tackle their business problems
  • Identify and qualify prospects who would benefit from purchasing a Winshuttle solution by using the company’s lead programs, prospecting, maintaining strategic business relationships with key partners, and conducting research to identify potential prospects.
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent customer relationships by using a consultative approach to open discussions with customers, explore their business needs, summarize customer’s needs and issues, discover solutions and gain agreement on your solution.
  • Provide ongoing account management by meeting (either in person or via phone) with current customers at least once a month to maintain business relationships with the customer and identify new sales opportunities with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain a sufficient understanding of pricing and product configuration alternatives to design solutions for customers and demonstrate our solutions.

Knowledge

  • A minimum of 8+ years successful territory sales experience in enterprise software sales
  • Track record of sales at a high level of achievement
  • Selling in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • Appropriate selling technical software solutions to Finance and Accounting organizations
  • Validated ability to build a strategic sales plan, prioritize, and execute as planned
  • Ability to meet quota and adapt to changing environments
  • Sell using a “solutions-oriented” approach that uses consultative sales techniques
  • Possess analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, and ability to interact with any level within an organization
  • SAP (or other ERP) knowledge/experience a plus
