Position summary

The Technical Trainer will leverage in depth product, SAP and SharePoint knowledge to facilitate training content to implement Winshuttle solutions for Clients and Partners.  This role will be responsible for delivering client consulting in conjunction with training engagements as needed.  The Technical Trainer is responsible for global collaboration and implementation of new and existing product training. This role requires strong knowledge of adult learning theory, enterprise software and proven experience to launch and drive product learning.

Essential functions and responsibilities


  • Plan, direct, and ensure successful delivery of customer and partner training engagements
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships between the customer, project team, and other internal delivery partners
  • Assume a leadership role in educating the business and technical community on training programs
  • Act as a liaison between sales, services and support for training programs that ensure Winshuttle is exceeding customer expectations


  • Consult with customers during workshop sessions to develop working solutions that address specific SAP configuration and business process needs
  • Validate customer training requirements and align training content delivery to requirements
  • Develop and maintain advanced training materials that may be beyond content developed by Product Management
  • Contribute to the technical knowledge base and company internal knowledge sources
  • Assist with internal product testing, as needed
  • Evaluates existing tools, processes and methods and recommends improvements to mature the overall customer success
  • Coordinate with other trainers, globally
  • Takes on consulting work when training workload diminishes

  • Proven ability to understand the impact of technology on business challenges, processes, and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to explain benefits of a technical product/solution to a client in relation to the client’s business needs
  • Ability to translate technical information into easy to understand language for customers
  • Ability to translate customer training needs into training delivery and create working solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication
  • Detailed working knowledge of SAP (ECC, AFS and Retail systems and their modules: Master Data, FICO, SD, HR, PM, etc)
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft products (Office, SharePoint), SQL databases, and/or Windows Networks
  • Ability to work across technical levels internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team and to manage multiple demands
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with customers, partners and other technical staff


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in technical training delivery
  • Experience delivering remote and in-person training
  • Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning theory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP technologies
