Sterling, VA – February 26, 2019 – EnterWorks, a leading provider of Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions, today announced its performance was ranked in Gartner’s 2019 Report on Critical Capabilities for Master Data Management Solutions. Gartner, a leading analyst research firm, released this research which focuses on the market and its depth of offering for key MDM capabilities and use cases.
The report evaluated vendors on 12 critical capabilities in MDM and the vendor’s ability to support the six major MDM use cases (MDM of B2B Customer Data, MDM of B2B Customer Data, MDM of Buy-side Product Data, Sell-side Product Data, Multi-domain MDM, and Multi-vector MDM).

Gartner suggests that the analysis enables companies to follow “a use-case-based approach that data and analytics leaders can reference during vendor MDM evaluations.” Further, that companies “focus on prime use cases and accelerated time to business value as successful MDM implementations start with a single domain and use case.” They also point out that selecting the right packaged MDM solution “requires clear understanding of how it can meet current and future business requirements.” The research also focused on “the top organizational requirements for which MDM solutions are purchased include operational business efficiencies, improving business process agility and outcomes, and improving customer relationships.”
