Winshuttle Helps NatSteel Achieve 30% Reduction in Processing Cycle Time

Winshuttle Helps NatSteel Achieve 30% Reduction in Processing Cycle Time.

Bothell, WA – February 16, 2015 – Winshuttle, a Microsoft Business-Critical SharePoint (BCSP) partner, is pleased to announce that a new case study featuring NatSteel has been published. The case study details how Winshuttle helped NatSteel improve enterprise-level visibility, accelerate business processes and improve data quality by optimizing their SAP material data creation processing. Some of the benefits realized by NatSteel are:

  • Reduction in Processing Cycle Time: The Business-Critical SharePoint solution accelerates master data processes. The deployment minimized the number of touch points in the SAP material master workflow, resulting in a 30 percent reduction in the time necessary to complete a material creation request.
  • Improved Data Quality: Winshuttle eliminated the errors that are caused by manual rekeying and also provided data validation at the point of entry into SAP. Due to this, NatSteel has achieved a significant improvement in data quality resulting in more accurate spend analysis—and a further reduction in processing cycle time.
  • Saving on Resources: An added benefit of the Winshuttle deployment is that NatSteel now recognizes a reduced requirement for SAP ABAP and BASIS developers that are normally needed to develop and maintain the workflow process for SAP material data creation.

According to Justin Tan, Vice President of Procurement at NatSteel, “With Winshuttle, our material request process is more streamlined. We’ve achieved better validation and integration across our SAP material master data processes.”
