Winshuttle Promotes Lewis Carpenter to CEO; CO-Founder Vikram Chalana to Drive Product and Technical Innovation as New CTO

Bothell, WAFebruary 3, 2009 –Winshuttle, the leading provider of data entry and data download tools for SAP® users, today announced that Lewis Carpenter has been promoted from president and COO to chief executive officer, responsible for leading all aspects of Winshuttle’s global business. Vikram Chalana, Winshuttle’s co-founder, will transition from CEO in order to focus on his new role of chief technology officer where he will spearhead the current and future direction of the company’s technology offerings. Chalana remains as chairman of the board.

Carpenter brings more than 20 years of experience in building and leading successful companies. Prior to Winshuttle, he was the COO at Aventail Corporation, where he helped the company become the market leader in providing secure remote access appliances and managed services to global enterprise customers. Before Aventail, Carpenter held various senior executive roles at FileNet Corporation, where he helped grow the company from 0 to over $300 million in annual revenue.
