Milan – a city of fashion and food and the occasional SAP conference. This year’s SAPinsider event, the joint Financials, BI, HR and GRC trade show, took place at the Milano Congresso, a venue that does well to accommodate delegates and exhibitors alike. The breakout rooms, located off the main hall, were large enough to house an audience of 100 people and hosted a wealth of track options for delegates to choose from. I have just returned from the Georgia ASUG chapter meeting and Business One Summit at the Legacy Lodge, Lake Lanier near Buford, GA. As with any of these gatherings, there were many people in attendance but with this particular gathering the focus was a little muddied by the consolidation of the meeting into an ‘all-the-SAP-products’ gathering. As a freelance consultant I have often considered attending an SAP event, such as SAPPHIRE or one of the solution-specific trade shows – the Orlando CRM show, for example.
